What's Your Question?
How to Write a Research Paper
Writing a research paper is a bit more difficult that a standard high school essay. You need to site sources, use academic data and show scientific examples. Before beginning, you’ll need guidelines for how to write a research paper.
Start the Research Process
Before you begin writing the research paper, you must do your research. It is important that you understand the subject matter, formulate the ideas of your paper, create your thesis statement and learn how to speak about your given topic in an authoritative manner. You’ll be looking through online databases, encyclopedias, almanacs, periodicals, books, newspapers, government publications, reports, guides and scholarly resources. Take notes as you discover new information about your given topic. Also keep track of the references you use so you can build your bibliography later and cite your resources.
Develop Your Thesis Statement
When organizing your research paper, the thesis statement is where you explain to your readers what they can expect, present your claims, answer any questions that you were asked or explain your interpretation of the subject matter you’re researching. Therefore, the thesis statement must be strong and easy to understand. Your thesis statement must also be precise. It should answer the question you were assigned, and there should be an opportunity for your position to be opposed or disputed. The body of your manuscript should support your thesis, and it should be more than a generic fact.
Create an Outline
Many professors require outlines during the research paper writing process. You’ll find that they want outlines set up with a title page, abstract, introduction, research paper body and reference section. The title page is typically made up of the student’s name, the name of the college, the name of the class and the date of the paper. The abstract is a summary of the paper. An introduction typically consists of one or two pages and comments on the subject matter of the research paper. In the body of the research paper, you’ll be breaking it down into materials and methods, results and discussions. Your references are in your bibliography. Use a research paper example to help you with your outline if necessary.
Organize Your Notes
When writing your first draft, you’re going to have to work on organizing your notes first. During this process, you’ll be deciding which references you’ll be putting in your bibliography and which will work best as in-text citations. You’ll be working on this more as you develop your working drafts and look at more white paper examples to help guide you through the process.
Write Your Final Draft
After you’ve written a first and second draft and received corrections from your professor, it’s time to write your final copy. By now, you should have seen an example of a research paper layout and know how to put your paper together. You’ll have your title page, abstract, introduction, thesis statement, in-text citations, footnotes and bibliography complete. Be sure to check with your professor to ensure if you’re writing in APA style, or if you’re using another style guide.

The Proctor 's Goals Essay
Whether we like to believe it goals play an important part in our lives. They keep us on track with what we want to accomplish in life. Some of my biggest goals were made as a child and others where just by surprise. However now I have much different goals set for myself. I have three main goals that can be separated into a personal, professional, and academic area. A personal goal is to become a great runner and roll model. A professional goal of mine is to become a nurse to help others in need and finally, my academic goal is to get a 3.5 GPA and graduate college. All these goals can be accomplished with hard work and dedication just like any other goal in life. We all want to strive for the best and sometimes we need smaller goals to help
Psychology, according to the textbook definition, is the study of behaviour and mind. However, there is much more to it. Through psychology, we can discover the inner workings of our minds and begin to explain certain phenomena. By studying psychology, people can try to answer questions that have been asked for so long such as: Do we have free will or are we instead driven by environmental, biology, or unconscious influences? What is mental illness and how is it caused and treated? Why do we dream, and, even further, what is the context of our dream and its meaning?? How are our mental states affected by our physical states? By exploring the deep, gruesome areas of our minds,

When I was young, I had a lot of dream careers or jobs. Every time I watch a movie I always get inspired on doing whatever the career of the main character is. For example, after I watch a war or an action movie like the Lone Survivor or a James Bond movie, I immediately want to aspire on becoming a military soldier or a spy. It takes time and maturity to fully realize what I wanted to become. But since the beginning I know for sure that becoming a writer or any career that relates to writing is not my call to adventure. I hate writing a lot because I sucked on it. I just

I was raised by my wonderful mother, and God family in Burton, Michigan along with my older brother and sister. My career goal of becoming a physical therapist stemmed from a growth defect I experienced during middle school that my primary doctors simply ignored. It was not until I went to a physical therapist that I was given a chance to get the medical care I needed that led to a corrective surgery. Once I was healed, I continued playing sports as my family instilled a love for athletics that will never go away. A drive that pushed me through my 14 year soccer career that was a large factor in who I am today. These experiences gave me a form of discipline that has carried into my college career which began at Adrian College, but an injury I suffered during my senior year in high school ended my time on the field, and my inability to play soccer at Adrian College.

Throughout my life, I always wondered what my profession would be when I grew up. My first choice was to be a nurse because I love to help people and make sure that they are well taken care of. When I reached high school, my thoughts about nursing tapered off because other careers interested me even more, such as becoming a lawyer. As I began researching more and more about lawyers, I talked to my work based learning teacher at school, and she recommended a part time job at a law firm. I began calling around, and entering my senior year of high school, I received my first job at a law firm. The first days of working at the law firm, I was extremely excited because I thought that I would be one step closer to reaching my goals as an attorney. I had the privilege of seeing what the attorneys did throughout the day, however as my experience in the firm progressed, my interest in becoming an attorney dwindled. I then realized I was back to square one and was extremely discouraged, because I did not know what I wanted to do with my life.

The qualification process is challenging, and acts as a barrier to entry. This bodes well for anybody with the relevant formal education and industry qualifications. If you have access to money (rich family who will invest with you, for example), your career path will be smoother. Most major financial institutions will advertise for entry-level positions in the industry. It should not be hard to identify opportunities in such a growing industry. The OOH states that there is going to be competition for new job openings because of the desirability of the career -- only the formal barriers should limit this somewhat. O*NET esource Center (http://www.onetcenter.org) In brief, O*NET describes itself as "the nation's primary source of occupational information" (O*NET, 2014). As the organization further points out on its Website, its database comprises of hundreds of descriptors that are both standardized and occupation-specific. One key advantage of this particular source of occupational info is the fact that its database is continually updated so as to keep up with trends and changes in the job market. The said update is done through "surveying a broad range of workers from each occupation" (O*NET, 2014). Yet another key benefit of this source of occupational info is its huge database of occupational definitions. It should, however,…

The "Dutch Test for Conflict-Handling," indentified my personality to have medium 'yielding' conflict style. This is consistent with my articulated belief that agreeability when handling conflicts is required, but not to the point that ethics are ignored. My test results on the "Big Five Personality" test thus support the notion that when handling ethical conflicts solving problems on a personal level and achieving a mutually beneficial solution is ideal. The need to do this in the financial industry today is evident in how many banks must renegotiate mortgages -- no one wants a foreclosure, as this benefits neither the home owner or the bank. Rather, resetting an interest rate so the home owner can stay in the homes but still make payments is the best solution, and this requires a compromise on both sides, ideally without a settlement in court. A think, given what I have learned about the financial…

After less than two months, I have seen some noticeable differences: I have more energy during the day, I sleep better at night, I can concentrate more fully and my stamina has improved. I know that working for the CBSA can be a physically-demanding job, but I am confident that I will be able to handle the exertion and stress that comes with it. I handle stress well: exercise is a great way for me to fend it off, and I also practise meditation and deep breathing. One of my biggest frustrations is when I feel that I should know something that I can't remember, thus my commitment to learning more about border security and the laws that govern it. This preparation will benefit me both on and off the job, and will allow me to make a greater contribution to the CBSA. My interest in becoming an agent for…
Career Person's Ability to Work
Those who have a more professional work, like a doctor or a lawyer tend to have a higher position in the society as compared with a carpenter or a waiter. A 5 occupational class scheme was discussed: 1st class is the upper level managers and professionals, 2nd class would be the medium level managers and professionals, 3rd class are the lower level office and service workers, 4th class are the skilled manual workers, and lastly, the 5th class is the unskilled manual workers. (ohnson, 2004) Therefore, social class can delineate a person's occupation and therefore characterize his/her experience of work. Another factor that may affect a person's work life is disabilities acquired, for example, physical disabilities. A person may have one kind of disability or another. he/she may have lost an arm or a leg, he/she may have loss the ability to see, hear or speak. These unfortunate events also…

For this reason, contract specialists do not need as rigid a background as, say, a neurologist does. A contract specialist usually develops his or her skills for the job while working for a large organization that engages suppliers in major contractual agreements. Devotion to an organization may precede the decision to become a contract specialist. or, a business student might decide that the communication-oriented nature of contract specialization suits his or her personality. Another person might find that while standard legal careers were disappointing, a career in contract specialization helps bridge the gap between the law, business, and the public sector in ways other occupations cannot possibly do. Where I Am Now In relation to the goal of becoming a contract specialist, I am well on my way towards achieving this core career objective. Currently, I am an Army Service member who is becoming familiar with various government-related contractual agreements.…

In Eric Borden's case, his knowledge of the industry and of the developments that occur on this segment recommends him either for the research and development department or for marketing, since he would be able to ensure that the marketing strategy that the company has is in line with what occurs on the markets. From that perspective, his salary structure could be changed so as to ensure that he receive an increased base salary rather than the sales bonus program he receives now. In the case of Ving Hsu, his financial package needs to be adjusted, because he currently works as a sales representative, but receives only the base salary, although he is eligible for the sales bonus. However, it seems that much of his activity is focused on training his customers on how to use the products rather than on increasing his volume of sales. A more relevant measure…

The U.S. Marshal Service position involves perhaps more dangerous duties than that of the FBI agent. esponsiblities include locating fugitives, going on lengthy assignments that often involve surveillance and stakeouts. Accordingly, essential skills include patience. It is also noted that agents working for the U.S. Marshal Service should be experienced, organized writers who can efficiently file reports. The video also noted that those with experience in law enforcement stand a greater chance of getting hired. My qualifications for the U.S. Marshal Service position are similar to my strengths regarding the FBI agent position. I am an accomplished, lucid writer and my strong physical build would assist me when engaged on dangerous assignments. Additionally, my itinerant upbringing makes me uniquely qualified for extended, two-week assignments. Although I do not have experience in law enforcement, I feel my skills in other areas more than compensate for this particular deficit. The ICE Special…

Career of a Marriage and Family Therapist
Career According to the O-Net Online Summary Report, marriage and family therapists "diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral, within the context of marriage and family systems." A systems approach is integral to the work that marriage and family therapists do, because they view individual psychological issues as inseparable from the greater family and social system. This enables a holistic approach to treatment interventions, and can be a culturally sensitive, culturally competent facet of psychological counseling. The primary tasks of a marriage and family counselor include the following. First, communications skills are of the utmost importance because one of the central roles of the counselor is to listen and ask appropriate questions at the right time. A marriage and family counselor meets with more than one member of each family, too, making good communications skills a prerequisite of the profession. Second, diagnoses should be based…

Of the many selling and service strategies that CM systems enable, the most valuable is in gaining a 360-degree view of customers and ensuring every department in an organization stays focused on their needs and wants (Beasty, 2007). CM systems provide sales teams with the ability to coordinate their selling efforts across the company, getting needed support and collaboration with the diverse departments and divisions that they rely on to sell products and services. An example of how a typical CM is organized is shown in Figure 1, Microsoft CM System Design. The design of CM systems is predicated on creating a system of record…

I will also be able to control the design and production of multimedia advertisements; research demographics; and stay abreast of industry trends. At a top position of management within a large advertising firm, I will enjoy the perks of a highly stimulating, intense work environment, including a plethora of networking opportunities, lasting business relationships, rewarding contracts, and a relatively high salary. Profession of Security Professional Security
Security professionals should know what that kind of cooperation entails and what the possible limitations are, and really what the professional expectations are for investigative cooperation, so as to not impede or otherwise hinder active investigations. While private security as a profession has boomed in many ways, there are some key ways in which the industry still lags behind. One of these ways is accurate data collection, data presentation, and collection of other relevant statistics. This must be a modern issue that security professionals take seriously. Statistics may be dry to some, but that trait does not diminish the value or the necessity of accurate and up-to-date statistics about the industry, including demographics, tools used, success rates, rates of collaboration with other agencies, and more. With modern tools such as data visualization, it is relatively more simple to represent large quantities of data in visually appealing ways in a condensed…

A cursory glance at job market statistics offers a grim picture, leading many to pessimistic conclusions. The United States Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics points out that increasing numbers of young people are graduating from college and entering the job market now, leading to increased competition in many job sectors (1). Likewise, rates of unemployment have been at near-record lows, especially for young men (United States Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics 1). Baeurlein also points out the problem that many college students have with debt accumulation from student loans, making it difficult for them to get a foothold on their careers. Career Options in Accounting
Accounting Careers Accounting is a common function in virtually every organization, irrespective of size and industry/sector of operation. The function is generally concerned with documenting business transactions and preparing financial statements. The accounting field offers numerous career paths. These include financial accounting, managerial accounting, internal auditing, tax accounting, financial analysis, payroll clerking, and forensic accounting (Bureau of Labor Statistics [BLS], 2015; American Institute of Certified Public Accountants [AICPA], 2017). Though related, each of these careers is unique in its own way. A financial accountant is involved in making and receiving payments, recording transactions, and preparing financial statements. Closely related to financial accounting is managerial accounting. While a financial accountant prepares financial statements for use by outsiders such as shareholders and lenders, a managerial accountant prepares financial records for internal use. The work of a payroll clerk is to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The clerk prepares, processes,…

How did this influence your evaluation of the sources you have used in other research papers? I, actually, was quite vague about the term Information Literacy and Research (ILR) and did not consider myself needing the instruction. Until now, I had thought that if I would need certain information, I would simply type it into the browser (if using the Internet) or withdraw some book from the library. I think I was also not particularly discriminatory in my sources. Prior to the establishment of ETIF in 1984, the FASB constantly faced challenges of not being able to offer well-timed and sensible solutions to developing practice problems. The EITF was therefore designed to disseminate and propagate carrying out guidance within the structure of the Accounting Standards Codification to decrease multiplicity when it comes down to it on a well-timed basis. In their field of profession, accountants experience a wide range of issues that are not comprehensively addressed in accounting pronouncements, and, which necessitate prompt resolve. Reduced treatment mistakes and patient falls, together with patient perceptions of being better informed during shift change, was witnessed by researchers. The intervention incorporated a 3-hour nursing pupil handoff practicum, 2-hour clinical staff training, and a formative student assessment and feedback in the course of clinical experiences all through the 3rd semester. The pupil practicum was integrated into clinical orientation and clinical lab experience. Best practices in bedside hand-offs were addressed as well. All through the course of the practicum, emphasis was placed on the handoff receiver's active participation in safety communication (Avallone & Weideman, 2015). Numerous favorable results were recorded with regard to combined bedside nurse shift reporting practice, with a small number of downsides. Nursing outlook towards reporting during final data acquisition proved to be more favorable as compared to their outlook at the start of program implementation. If put into proper practice, bedside nurse reporting may improve patient safety results and nurse and patient satisfaction. But it is imperative to ensure nurse involvement in practice implementation and to continually check both report format uniformity and process support on nurses' and patients' part (Jecklin-Sand & Sherman, 2014).

Career in 2008 I Knew Right Away
career in 2008, I knew right away that I would undertake a major course of study in pharmacy and have since been completely dedicated to my field. Within two years of matriculating, I became a trainee at the King Fahad Medical City Hospital, where I worked in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacies. After the six weeks of training, I had a much clearer vision of how I wished to develop and apply my skills as a pharmacist in the future. Witnessing the direct interactions between pharmacist, medical care team, and patient, I have become passionate about all elements of pharmaceutical research. I have also become keenly aware of the connections between pharmaceutical research as a business endeavor and the need to provide pharmaceutical interventions to the global population, especially those who lack access to medical care. An advanced degree in the United Kingdom provides me with the thorough indoctrination into…

Administrative Code Governing Career Service Employees
Career Service Employees According to the law, all employees are to be paid for their services, while overtime in all cases is also subject to some sort of compensation, either by means of payment or by means of compensatory leave. The circumstances under which each type of remuneration should occur vary among employee types. What this means is that all employees who offer overtime work should be compensated in some way. The Florida Administrative Code also provides for this type of compensation for various employee types (Martin, 2010). Compensatory leave can therefore be defined as "time off from work in compensation for irregular or occasional overtime work…" (CompesationBL, 2003). According to the general rules for compensation, the directors' complaints are therefore valid. They are also valide in terms of the Florida Administrative Code (Stutler, 2006). According to Stutler (2006), Special Compensatory Leave can be awarded to Career Service employees in…

In addition to my voyeuristic ways, I am also interested in current events and politics. As a result of these interests, I am interested in a career as an investigative reporter. I interviewed Jilda Unruh, an Emmy winning investigative reporter at PLG Channel 10 in Miami, FL, for some inside information on her line of work. As for preparation for the field, she said, " A solid, diverse education is more important than any particular major. Investigative reporting covers such a broad spectrum of topics that one must be comfortable in a variety for subjects." Aspects of Career Counceling
Career counseling is not limited to a particular trade or skill or type of people but includes a wide range of individuals who possess all kinds of skills, passions, and values as well as career motivations. In this paper, we investigate the practical applicability of Super's Developmental Self-Concept Theory-based model for career counseling. This theory or model of counseling encompasses the entire lifespan of an individual and divides it into a number of segments. This paper tries to understand how each of the stages identifies the needs and aspirations of individual clients and sets a benchmark that best suits the needs in every stage. This theory is based on self-concept and hence is applicable at an individual level. The paper also looks into the possible assessment tests for career counseling. Such tests are based on personality or psychology of a client, the interest of that individual and the aptitude of…

Reintegrating Job Design and Career Theory Creating
Reintegrating job design and career theory: Creating not just good jobs but smart jobs explores the relationship between how a job is designed and its effect on a person's overall career development. This is accomplished by discussing Career Theory and its relationship to Job Design, but also by reversing the thought process and exploring the relationship between Job Design and Career Theory. Finally the authors use their research and recommend a course of action: the creation of jobs that are both designed to provide personal fulfillment but also aid in the development of a long-term career. The authors begin the article with a review of the relevant research that has already been conducted on the subject with a view towards how the fields of Job Design and Career Theory came to be. They also discuss the relationship between the terms "job" and "career;" how both relate to a person's work…

Training Effective Training for Career
Perhaps the most compelling finding in the study by Kotey & Folker is that which denotes that in early growth stages, family firms will actually tend to demonstrate a greater formality in training approaches than will nonfamily firms. Ultimately though, the research finds that size is a major driver of how training strategies are designed. This supports the notion that training must largely be constructed with the specific characteristics of the hiring organization as the foremost determinant. A good training process will not only offer education and instruction on performing in one's responsibilities and working within company procedural norms, but it should also help to demonstrate the value system of the company, to convey its ethical priorities, to induce a sense of belonging within its culture and to reinforce a consistency of company identity. This means that certain company characteristics must be captured through the training process in addition to…

HR Research Requirements There Are
Without adapting both instruments and the analyses of responses based on some level of assessment of the cultural values and interpretations, results (especially from qualitative research instruments such as the proposed questionnaires and interviews that will be most effective in this research) are likely to be less accurate and are certain to be less meaningful to the organization in question (Stahl & Bjorkman 2006). Taking into account cultural diversity as well as other types of personal values and beliefs that might affect results is necessary to ensure that the information collected is reliable and remains meaningful through interpretation (Stahl & Bjorkman 2006). There are also other more mundane factors that must be controlled in order to ensure that adequate amounts of reliable information are gathered in the research process. Proper foresight and knowledge regarding statistical techniques and demands during the gathering of data is necessary, such that reliable conclusions can…

The Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) is one of the best places to get the job guidance and assessment that a person with a brain injury needs so that person can go on to be a more productive member of society. A correlation study was utilized in this particular article so that the assessments and other concerns could be addressed and it could be determined which of them had something to do with how easily a person could be employed and how much that person made, and which ones did not. Although some of the variables were more significant than others when it came to whether a person could be gainfully employed and perform at a level equal to those without a brain injury,…
Business Research I Would Advise
The interview setting was likely a poor choice because it not only reduces the perception of anonymity but it also gives the respondents more opportunity to be evasive. I would advise Mary conduct such research in a written format, which minimizes opportunities for evasion and maximizes the perception of anonymity. 3. I would suggest to Mary that part of the reason the HR manager is hostile is because part of the intent of the study is to question whether the Human Resources department is "aware of some of the gendered cultural processes at work in their companies." Thus, the research is attempting to show that HR is not doing its job, or not doing it well enough. That the research was not cleared with the HR Director first only exacerbates this problem. Mary's first step before conducting the surveys should have been to discuss the issue with the HR Director…

The data collection methods Questionnaires effectively aid in data collection. To capture the right data, it must be well organised and prepared. The variables required in the result must be prepared well in advance for they guide the researcher on how to frame the questionnaire. The questions in it must be clear and simple to avert confusing the respondent. A time frame should set on the duration a respondent should stay with the questionnaire. The mode of its distribution should be established to ensure only the relevant responds receive it. Another data collection method to be employed will be oral interviews. The interview question should be prepared in advance with reference to the variables required. Good interviewer training is necessary for it prepares him on how to ask the questions and manage the interviewee. Possible methods of data analysis A thorough data analysis process is crucial for effective data analysis.…

Motivation Experimental Research on Motivation Among the
Motivation Experimental Research on Motivation Among the psychological variables discussed, motivation is the psychological variable that I have the most interest in, primarily because it helps uncover the 'mystery' of why we are drive to successfully accomplish tasks and activities. Motivation is at the center of every individual who makes a decision to commit an action or behavior; it develops within the individual the willingness to commit to change through his/her own actions. Whether or not the motivation was positively generated, motivation remains a key component to understanding the human psyche. Take as an example weight loss or diet programs. These programs are anchored on the premise that given the correct motivation, individuals can successfully achieve weight loss. Weight programs are driven only by two important factors: the trainer's support to the individual in the program, developing the right motivation in him/her, and the individual's motivation to successfully finish the…

Case Study 6.3 - "Unilateral Work Rule Changes" The deceptively simple zipper clause included in the labor contract is profoundly powerful in its effects, or would be so if the legal exceptions of such a clause were not so prohibitive of its seeming intent. The clause is not especially complex, and means exactly what it says -- except for instances explicitly specified by he contract, no further bargaining is needed or can be required until the termination/expiration of the contract as "all the bargainable issues for the term thereof" have been definitively addressed by the contract. When both parties (i.e. labor and management) sign this contract, it is intended to mean that both parties are agreeing that all bargainable issues have been dealt with, and that therefore no more bargaining is necessary. In reality, however, the full scope of the clauses' stated powers cannot be enforced due to existing legal…

Value of Developing an Electronic Career Portfolio
Value of Developing an Electronic Career Portfolio An electronic portfolio happens to be an interactive online approach which enables one to provide a complete review of one's achievements, abilities as well as experiences. It is a space in which one is able to put together one's own resume as well as samples of one's work for potential business employers. E-portfolio pages of content vary from social media websites like MySpace or even Facebook. An e-portfolio goes beyond a traditional resume, offering a range of details about one's qualifications and abilities in more than a single medium. It could consist of papers, pictures, as well as videos, amongst other options (owh, 2008). The goal of this paper is to evaluate the importance of creating a digital career portfolio also known as an e-portfolio. Evaluation An e-portfolio is surely an online showcase of one's abilities and skills. It is particularly geared to…

1 Choose a career
2 choose a career.
Choose a career based on personal interest or personal aptitude factors. A common starting place is to take a personality assessment quiz, like the Myers-Briggs, to outline some of your general personality traits and derive suggested careers for those traits. Personal reflection also works.
3 Gather a short list
Gather a short list of questions to ask yourself to help you decide on the best career. Are you good with people? Perhaps a career in sales, teaching or non-profit public services. Or do you prefer working alone with data? Perhaps a career in laboratory research. Do you have strong writing skills? Perhaps a career as a writer or editor.
4 Take notes on your interests and strengths
Take notes on your interests and strengths, then link those characteristics to different jobs and careers. In many classroom environments, teachers assign subjects to students for a career research paper, making the decision for them. In this way, the student can cut directly to the research process.
5 Gather basic information about your chosen career
6 conduct internet.
Conduct internet, career center and library research to acquire basic facts and figures about your career choice. Campus career counselors and librarians are reliable resources and will point you in the right direction.
7 Start with simple questions
Start with simple questions. How old is the career? Doctors have been around longer than computer programmers or welders. What are the responsibilities of the career? Some careers are a lot more demanding than others, either physically or intellectually.
8 Formulate more detailed questions more
Formulate more detailed questions about the career to answer during additional research. Does the career require a degree or other advanced certification? If so, what kind and how much? A mechanical engineer will need more schooling than a salesman. What is the average pay grade for the career? Is there room for advancement?
9 Interview a professional in your chosen career field
10 formulate even more specific.
Formulate even more specific, personal interview questions that will generate information beyond what is available at a library or career center.
Gear your questions toward finding out things like how long they've been working in the field, how they like the work, how many hours per week the career requires and what the day-to-day life in that career is like.
12 Locate someone
Locate someone who works in your chosen career field, make an appointment and conduct an interview. If you are going to record the interview, get express permission to record from the person you are interviewing. Recorded interviews will be more useful for qualitative information about the quality of the career, the demands it makes on a personal life and the career's prospects for the future.
13 Write the paper
14 collate your data.
Collate your data and turn it into a coherent research paper. This article is designed to get you started. Like any research paper.
15 Be to include paragraphs
Be sure to include paragraphs that describe the career, explain what it takes to enter it, report the pay range and other relevant statistics. Also include at least one paragraph based on your interview, reporting the actual experiences and perspectives of someone working in the field.
Conclude by touching on the highlights of the previous paragraphs and giving the paper closure. Some analysis of the information you gathered and how well the career fits you will also work in the conclusion.
