Use this standards-based Narrative Writing Rubric for 7th grade to assess your students’ narrative writing skills! This helpful rubric covers the major standards in seventh-grade narrative writing, including organization, technique, transitions, style, and conclusion.

Each writing rubric is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for English/Language Arts in 7th grade. They can be used as both analytic or holistic scoring rubrics. The writing is scored with a 0,1,2,or 3 depending on how close or how far away students are to meeting grade level expectations.
